Christian Living

Life before, today, and after

Often defined as the existence of an individual human being or an animal, the term life triggers endless questions in our minds. This can be consciously or unconsciously. We desire to know what life is in the past, the present and the future. How should we live, what happens when this life is over; and wait a moment, what existed before we did?

Historical writings, photographs and motion pictures glamorize and entreaty us with the desire to know the kind of life of those that lived before us.

Truth has it that our life experiences do put us on a weighing balance making us wonder on how to cope. How should we deal with life challenges? Amid the disappointments, the successes and failures, the joys and heartaches of this life what should we do?

Deep down in our hearts lie questions that need answers. Is there really a purpose to life? What could that be if it is? As we meditate about the course of this life, is there God, does He expect anything of us? What plans does He have for you and for me? Is it something we can know, or does He reveal His purpose for us?

What is beyond this life? Do men have an ultimate destiny, and is it common for all? Do we have the power to choose our destiny? If there is, how do we make a better choice? What is it this thing about eternal life and condemnation? Is there reincarnation, as some believe – a transformation to another form of life? If life is meaningless (which actually is a deception), could it mean that nothing will happen?

These questions are tough, but very important! Read on, let us study and discover the answers together. Let us understand the meaning of life, the evil and suffering in this world, Christian living, God’s plan of salvation and life after death.
